The origin of menorquinas
Menorquinas sandals are known by many names: abarcas, avarcas, mallorquinas or ibicencas.
A classic shoe, resistant and durable, which was born on the island of Menorca in Roman times and which was made by hand.
Their use began on the battlefield, then they were worn more rustically to go to work in the fields and today they have become the star shoe of the summer thanks to tourism and their internationalisation.
