Today we present you a novelty that makes us very excited!
This is the new Origami collection from the Spanish brand Akinolaude, a beautiful range of summer and mid-season garments for women, with a retro air that will make you travel to Japan without leaving the place.
Available in online store and in our C / Císter store!
A oriental collection
The collection is inspired by the art of origami, which consists of folding the paper to make figures of different shapes, always starting from a square or rectangular base.
In ancient Japanese culture, origami was considered an important part of the ceremonies of the nobility, since having paper to fold was a luxury that not everyone could afford.
That part of distinction and elegance is reflected in the collection, which consists of pieces with silhouettes and volumes that imitate the patterns of this technique, putting the central axis in the cottons and viscose of the fabric. The garments are finished with ruffles, embroidery, crochet, fringes and trimmings.
Dedal de Oro: a very special award
The Dedal de Oro awards are a benchmark for the fashion sector in Spain. Vogue magazine even calls them the Goya of Fashion.
Akinolaude received this award in 2015 with only 4 years of professional life, in recognition of his great work in the sector.
In addition, in 2019 the brand also received the Premio Nacional de la Moda for Excelencia Empresarial.
Made in Spain brand
Akinolaude was born in 2011 by Carolina Galiana and Javier Velasco, two professionals in graphic design and international fashion.
A cheerful, fresh brand with its own personality that designs garments exclusively for women. We are talking about distinguished garments but with a very chic touch, which takes special care of the details.
Don't think twice and be the star of the season wearing the Origami collection!
